Rehabilitation of Route 128 over the Annisquam River
Gloucester, MA
This structure, which carries Route 128 is the primary link for vehicular traffic into Gloucester. SPS has completed reconstruction of the northbound and southbound bridge decks, sidewalks, and has installed a new concrete barrier between the two traffic barrels while maintaining all lanes of traffic during the summer months. Other work includes cleaning and repointing of the granite piers and painting of the entire steel truss including the main span arch.
